Please note: This product will only be shipped on Mondays each week. We ship this raw pheasant directly from our farm in Wisconsin in a cooler with dry ice. All orders are shipped via UPS. If you select UPS Ground shipping at checkout, please be aware we do not guarantee product and shipping costs. Orders will need to arrive within 3 days of shipment to remain cool in the warmer months. As long as the product is cool upon delivery, it is safe for your pet's consumption. We suggest checking UPS's website to see your delivery time frame from Wisconsin (53546) before choosing UPS Ground as your shipping option at checkout. 

Disclaimer:

  • Your products should arrive at a safe temperature for your pet's consumption.
  • Some surface thawing or defrosting may occur during shipment. Don't worry, the main requirement is that the products stay below 41 degrees for safety.
  • Our products will generally keep just fine in their packaging under normal conditions, but you don't want to leave it for too long in the direct sun on your front porch.

Overall I think the product is very good quality. I purchased four of the 5lb packages of the boneless thighs. I made the choice to peel off the skin and portion out the meal for my dog’s meals. I was disappointed that after I did that, it came out roughly a little over 3.5 pounds. Nonetheless it was my choice not to feed the skin to my dog. My biggest complaint was the tracking and order updates and the packaging. I received my shipment in a box that was practically falling apart and partially melted and leaking. The styrofoam used to line the box was flimsy so I think that’s the main reason why my package was half melted. Since I didn’t anticipate having to need room in my fridge for 20lbs, I had to spend a chunk of my night portioning and repackaging everything. Not a fun thing to have to do when you get home from work close to 10pm

Bought 5 lbs, weighed at home, came out to 4.5 lbs

The meat looked like decent quality but was disappointed that I paid for 5 lbs, but when I weighed the package, it came out to 4.5 lbs.

Quality product

Really pleased with the quality of the pheasant thighs. My dog is a huge fan! He already loves the necks and heads. This is a nice addition.

Okay in a pinch

I bought these because the Pheasant blend was out of stock. It is not complete to feed for the dog's diet, but I guess they are fine. I did have to chop up as they are whole and my dog will just swallow.

Boneless thigh and leg meat

I ordered 4 5lb packages when they were on sale to add to my larger batches of raw cat food. I've used one bag so far and was very happy with the quality of the meat. Liked it so well, I ordered 4 more.
When they first went on sale I calculated the shipping at felt it was still too expensive. The sale price was lowered and them I felt I could justify the cost.
Cats have had it mixed into a batch of raw with pork, chicken and beef. Two paws up! I also occasionally get the 5 pound bags of frozen necks when they are on sale.
