This meat follows the 80/10/10 whole prey model raw diet. This means the recipe makeup matches that of a live bird. This raw pheasant contains 80% pheasant meat, 10% pheasant bone, and 10% pheasant organ.
This raw pheasant is made from natural pheasant raised at MacFarlane Pheasant farm in Wisconsin. Our pheasants are raised humanely and without any antibiotics or hormones. This raw meat is:

Just gave my super picky 14 y/o Lhasa a bowl of this meat and he licked his plate clean. Followed his dinner up with a freeze dried liver treat and he devoured it. I was nervous about a raw diet but seeing how much he enjoyed this food how can I not give it to him? Thank you for offering these amazing products and I will definitely order again really soon.
My dog really enjoys the pheasant. I love that it's local and not a huge commercial farm. The quality is excellent and it provides variety in his raw diet. Additionally, the customer service is always excellent!
Fast shipping but everything was covered in blood when I opened the box. Didn't seem to be packaged very well so a couple items split open during transport. Unfortunately my dogs won't eat any of it.

Regarding my last order, the 5-pound chubs were defrosted and the packaging had leaked, resulting in a substantial amount of juices pooling at the bottom of the box. It was quite messy. As a result, each chub was short by approximately 5 to 6 ounces. The wrapping material used was of very low quality and flimsy.
For my most recent order, I specifically requested extra dry ice, which carries an additional cost of $4. However, once again, the order arrived thawed. That’s not a huge problem. It was cool. But, this time, two of the packages were cracked open, causing chunks of meat to be scattered at the bottom of the box—an even bigger mess.
I regularly order frozen raw items from various vendors, and all of them arrive still frozen with significantly better packaging. Receiving those items is a straightforward process of transferring them directly from the box to the freezer. However, receiving orders from your company has become a time-consuming and inconvenient task.
I would like to clarify whether you are shipping the products in a frozen state. It's important to note that dry ice does not freeze items; its purpose is to maintain the frozen state of already frozen products.
In summary, I find the product itself to be excellent. It offers good value, and my dogs enjoy it. However, I will refrain from placing any future orders until I can be assured that the packaging will be handled more professionally and with higher-quality materials.

We do ship our items frozen and add the dry ice to help it remain cool and safe for your pet's consumption upon arrival.

I was very happy to find a high-quality, easy to procure source of just plain pheasant. I wasn't at all surprised that my two dogs love it, but my super-picky cats enjoy it as well. Until this, the only raw food that they would (usually) eat has been chicken hearts, which are good but not a complete meal. Love, love, love the ground pheasant!
Our two-year-old boy, Norm, has been raw-fed since he was placed with us at nine months. His diet has been beef pmr and beef/tripe. He has done very well with that, so we decided to add the pheasant, and he LOVES IT!!
His coat is shiny, bowel movements are healthy and minimal (because raw feeding yields little waste), and he enjoys the change in protein. We couldn't be happier with his health and overall disposition.
We will continue with this meal plan for Norm, and we all thank you for the great product you have made readily available! The pheasant chubs always arrive in perfect condition and very timely. We also find that your pricing is very reasonable and that your home delivery costs the same as the beef we have to pick up out of town, so we save time and money. THAT is a nice little perk.
